This week, I received my financial aid award, AKA Oh My God.
For 26, near 27 years of my life, I have avoided debt like I've avoided the plague, so much so, that I'm known among my friends as the Tightwad Queen.
This is about to change. In one fell swoop, my money and financial freedom are gone. My stomach is tied in knots, and I've had trouble sleeping. However, in my wakeful hours, I've devised a plan. Apart from being a personal assistant to Vin Diesel, I'm going to play the lottery.
Now, that doesn't seem like something a cheapskate would do, but I've reasoned it out....
I mean, the Lottery did pay for my college the first time around (big thanks to Zell Miller and Georgia's Hope Scholarship).
So, it only makes sense that I'm destined to win the lottery, right? How else would I pay for my school?
As I was sharing my plans with my boyfriend, a commercial for the Texas lottery aired on TV.
Ain't no coincidence.
In fact, the commercial was starring Troy Aikmen and Emmit Smith of the Dallas Cowboys...How'd I know that? I don't watch football. In fact, I hate football. So, how did I know that??? Exactly...Destiny.
Furthermore, I received a coupon in the mail this week to play the lottery. I didn't know they did that!?! Must be another sign!
My boyfriend keeps telling me that it would be impossible for me to win. I mean, one in one billion chance of winning is not impossible. It might be slight, but not impossible. Someone has gotta win, and obviously, there is a force out there encouraging me to play.
So, I'm gonna play! Wish me luck! Though, if I win, I probably can't tell you.
But, if when you visit me in LA, and you notice I have new furniture, and possibly a new car, and new clothes, and heck, throw a fancy downtown loft in there, well, then you know that life is treating me well.
And, I'll buy you dinner.

Episode 1
The annual company picnic is this weekend. Someone signed up to bring icecream.
Icecream? C'mon people. In the hot, HOT Austin Summertime. I mean, I know there are coolers, but how long does the ice last, really?
Ahh, Yes, I have a lot of time on my hands.
Why do I feel like I could be a character on a tv show? Seinfeld, meets The Office, meets House, meets some reality show where a person gets voted off each week....That's my job.
This blog is supposed to be more about art and on-goings and less about chatter.
I'm in transistion.
Oh, and I don't do company picnics...

A museum job
Dog walker
Babysitter?
Personal Asst to a nice celebrity. Preferably Vin Diesel or Luda or Andre Benjamin.
Office Asst/Data Entry
Film or TV actress (including commercials and paid reality shows)
