Off to China!

Tonight, I hop on a 13 hour flight across the world to Beijing where I'm participating in USC's global documentary workshop. I'll team up with a Beijing film student from China to document an aspect of Beijing life. Our topic has yet to be determined, although I'm hoping to explore issues specifically related to women.

I'll be working with a really talented group of people, both from USC and the CUC, which is where I'll be living for the next 7 weeks. I'll try to keep my blog updated while I'm away, but if I can't, be sure to check back after July 7th.
