Off to China!

Tonight, I hop on a 13 hour flight across the world to Beijing where I'm participating in USC's global documentary workshop. I'll team up with a Beijing film student from China to document an aspect of Beijing life. Our topic has yet to be determined, although I'm hoping to explore issues specifically related to women.

I'll be working with a really talented group of people, both from USC and the CUC, which is where I'll be living for the next 7 weeks. I'll try to keep my blog updated while I'm away, but if I can't, be sure to check back after July 7th.

The End

I finished my Sally film. The purpose of this project was to experiment with ideas or methods we'd like to potentially explore next year in preparation for our thesis film.

Here's my project. I have a very subtle soundtrack, perhaps mixed a bit too low, so volumes up!

Tangles Update

Here's a roughed out animatic-please excuse the poor video quality. I still have a lot to do: new sound, final mix, finish animating first 3 scenes, lip sync, shoot on film, etc. For now, I've had to put it aside while I work on other things. Hopefully, I'll finish in early August.

So close, but still so far away!
